An extension of The Multimoral Society. This is aimed at people who are not content merely to smoke dope, but also have to wear T-shirts and have bumper stickers extolling the moral virtue of smoking dope. It’s as if they don’t want the moral responsibility, or the intellectual burden, of admitting that something they enjoy is, nonetheless, a vice. Fundamentally, they have forgotten the distinction between public and private.
